How to Use Acrylic Shimmer
Flakes
This is a very hot technique these days!
There
are two ways to apply these....
POLISH SECURE: polish nails and let dry completely. Apply top coat or clear nail polish in desired design on nail. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE KINDS OF NAIL ART WILL STICK WHEREVER YOU PUT THE TOP COAT OR CLEAR. Lay flakes on wet top coat, let dry for a few seconds then apply top coat to secure onto nail.
ACRYLIC or GEL INSET: Start with either a color or clear acrylic or gel and create nails as usual..then apply a thin coat of clear acrylic or gel and working quickly and while still wet lay art down...then apply more clear acrylic or gel to inset or sandwich the art into the nail. Don't forget to apply top coat to make nails shine!
